(Kampong Speu): Students of Samrong Primary School, located in Kbal Domrey Village, Pram Chea Commune, Oral District, Kampong Speu Province, received various school supplies, including backpacks, notebooks, pencils, sharpeners, rulers, erasers, colored pencils, hats, raincoats, toothbrushes, toothpaste, and snacks, in celebration of International Children’s Rights Day on June 1, 2024.
SEENERGY CAPITAL, in collaboration with Thaknay & Associates, Ellipse Finance, CID Logistics, and other participating companies, organized a charitable event titled “Donate for Children’s Smiles”. The organizing team also provided educational materials for the school and traditional Khmer musical instruments, ensuring that these instruments remain at the school to preserve Khmer heritage. These included hand drums, tro che, tro ou, roneat ek, chapei, khloy, and more. Additionally, they donated printed books for grades 1 to 6, one set of Khmer clothing (a skirt and scarf) per student, books of Khmer folktales, pens, and 300 notebooks for the school’s use, along with financial support for Samrong Primary School.
Moreover, the team organized a lunch gathering with students and teachers, during which they shared traditional Khmer dishes. They also conducted life-skills workshops and organized traditional Khmer games with the students, creating a fun and engaging environment while educating them on Khmer culture and traditions. This interaction helped foster a sense of togetherness and strengthened relationships through these activities.
During the event, SEENERGY CAPITAL and other participating companies expressed deep gratitude to the Kampong Speu Provincial Administration and the working teams. They encouraged the students to cultivate a love for learning and reading to acquire both soft skills and hard skills necessary for societal advancement. They emphasized that this initiative was not only a charitable act but also aimed to inspire young generations to adopt a spirit of giving, mutual support, and solidarity through charitable activities and traditional Khmer games.
At the conclusion of the program, SEENERGY CAPITAL, along with its partners, personally distributed study materials and other donations to approximately 300 Cambodian children and their teachers, reinforcing their commitment to community development and education.
